Rylan reached the barn, where he proceeded to dismount his horse. Just as he did, three figures came out of the barn.
"Hey Ry!" The smallest called, running and giving the boy a hug. "Guess what! Kaitlin and Victoria took me riding! I can ride reeeeeal well now!" Kaitline came up, rolling her eyes.
"I wouldn't say that, you can kind of ride now, if there's someone else steering!" The girl pouted as Victoria appeared at her twins side.
"Now Kaitlin, let's be fair, Heather did tell the horse to turn that one time."

After Robby helps Aura down from the horse, the trio walk to the stables. Aura smiles at the sight of Rylan with the young girls. 'he'll make a good father someday.' she thought.

Robby shrugged at the question of Amelia as he saw Rylan's sisters and turned to Aura and said, "Vicky's probably tending to her every whim and driving her mad."
He turned to the twins and gave them a lazy grin as he heard the conversation, "Heather can ride now? You hear that Ry, she's going to give you a run for your money someday. Maybe even win all the races I lose to you because of your cheating skills."

"who are these lovely girls?" Aura asks Rylan with a smile. It was nice to see something like this after the day she had. Thinking about it more, she had decided to stay with Ameila, since she got along with the girl so well. She wasn't about to say anything just yet though.

Rylan just smirked at his friend, "Cheat? Never. You never laid down any rules for me to break!" The twin both rolled their eyes at their brother and Robby's antics, waving lazily toward the former.
Heather, however, saw Robby and her eyes went huge. A large smile spread across her face and she skipped over to the boy, giggling. "Hi Robby!" She said happily, practically bouncing up and down. "I'm reeeal good at riding! Are you going to stay?" She looked at him with pleading, puppy dog eyes.
Rylan was laughing silently, amused over his sister, who seemed to have developed a little girl crush on his friend.

"Careful," warned Robby with a smirk at the three, "They're only lovely to strangers. Once you get to know them they're as awful as they're brother." He grinned at Heather's question, oblivious to her apparent interest as he added, "Nope, well, what's for dinner? She's the only sensible one, this girl. Watch out for the others."

Aura laughs and says "I'm sure your exaggerating. Right girls?" she says with a wink. She takes this chance to look around the barn. The horses that she didn't see earlier were just as lovely as the ones she had met. It was obvious that the family took good care of them.
It was in that moment that her stomach growled. Aura blushes at the noise. "I'm sorry", she apologizes, "I haven't had much to eat today" she smiles sheepishly.

"Awful as this boy?" Victoria replied, gesturing toward Rylan, "Not possible." Kaitlin shook her head from behind Victoria and pointed toward her two older siblings, "Possible!" She mouthed.
Heather giggled and said happily, "Mama's making us some beef stew! She said that afterward, she had a special treat! You could share mine Robby!"

Aura has a hard time not giggling at the sight. It was adorable to see the young girl taking a liking to Robby. "that is very nice of you." she tells Heather.

"I'd probably eat it all," he said to Heather ruefully, "But let's see if I can sneak in for dinner." Turning to Aura, he frowned as he nodded and said, "You probably haven't eaten all day. Don't worry, Ry's mom makes great food! I can attest to that."

"I ate breakfast...at lest I think I did. I hope it's fine that I join in." she tells them with concern. everyone was doing so much to help her, she hoped she wasn't putting anyone out.

"You can if you like." Heather replied earnestly.
"All right, all right," Interrupted Rylan, grinning, "Enough flirting with Robby, Squirt. Let's go inside and see if dinner's about ready. I'm sure Aura here is dying to eat already." Heather blushed beet red and scampered on in, giggling nervously as she glanced back at Robby. Kaitlin and Victoria followed quickly, both laughing at their little sisters expense.
"Just come on, no problem at all!" Kaitlin called back as she passed in response to Aura's worries.

"thank you. Your family seems so wonderful. I wish I had siblings." Aura replies as she walks with the group. Stealing a quick glance at Robby and she smiles seeing that his mood has significantly improved since earlier.

Robby stared after Rylan, thinking he was crazy to tell that to the little girl. He frowned, and shook it off, thinking Rylan was being stupid. Heather didn't see him like that, he was just a big brother figure. He ambled along, settling into a pleasant silence, not really thinking about anything. It was just a good day, and Robby took pleasure in that, despite everything that had happened.

Aura walks with the group when suddenly, the places where the nurses had bandaged her earlier had started to become irritated. 'maybe I shouldn't have gone for that ride.' she thought. She decided to ignore it for now and hoped no one would notice.

Well, as the group got closer to the house, Aura was having a harder time hiding the pain. The problem was, she really wanted to eat. So she was trying to hold off on saying anything until afterwards.

"Everything okay?" Asked Robby curiously to Aura, seeing the girl seemed uneasy. He couldn't tell, but maybe she was nervous about imposing. Girls had strange ideas like that, so he quickly dispelled the notion by saying, "Don't worry! Rylan may be a jerk, but his family's great! They make great food!"

"everything is fine." she tells him. They walks through the door and Aura smiles. Their home, though smaller than any home she had lived in, was amazing in its own way. It felt lived in and warm.

Inside was rather messy, as despite their mothers' attempts, a house with so many people was unlikely to stay tidy. Rylan shrugged off the mess and led the group into the dining room, where a long table with several people already sitting were. Rylan's mother and father were there,
"Hello!" Felicity greeted cheerfully, "Nice to see guests, Rylan's always bringing along someone for dinner. Please, make yourself at home." Rylan sat down immeditaley, ther twin took their places and Heather skipped over to sit beside their mother, while Rylan was next to their father.

Robby grinned widely at Felicity as he easily slid into a chair between Rylan and the twins, making it seem like a natural occurrence. He leaned back as he said, "Stew smells amazing! I'm starved, and you know I can't avoid something as tasty as your stew ma'am!" Turning to Rylan's father, he asked, "How's the farm sir?"

"Hello Aura," Rylan's mother replied pleasantly, "I'm Rylan's mother, Felicia." She turned to her children, "Girls, introduce yourselves."
"Well, she already knows us, but in case you missed, I'm Kaitlin and this is my twin Victoria."
"I'm Heather!" The little girl piped, still blushing. Beside her, another small girl said,
"My name is Patricia, I'm five!"
Lastly, the youngest girl, instead of responding instead went over to Aura and pulled herself onto the girls lap without asking. "Grace." Was all she said as she began to suck her thumb. Felicia rolled her eyes, amused by her youngest's bravery.
While his wife spoke to Aura, Keith nodded to Robby, "Quite well, We're expecting a good season for the potatoes, and the beef are growing very nicely- should be ready for butchering soon enough."

Robby nodded, completely missing the exchange between the girls as he spoke with Rylan's father. "Dad's been saying it's a good season this year. He's pretty thrilled with the way the crops are growing, thinks we may be able to invest in some extra pigs next summer for raising pork. Course, he's a bit disappointed I won't be around to help harvest this year since we have a good bundle, but he's alright with it. Besides, I swore if I finished training I'd come back and help with the harvest before I go out adventuring and trying to find Witches and the like."

Aura, upon hearing the conversation, stiffens. 'I thought we had finished this discussion.' she doesn't say anything this time. Aura had a feeling that it would be pointless to argue here. That and she was really hungry. She takes a spoonful of the stew to her lips and eats it. It was very delicious and full of flavor. Trying to change the conversation "This stew is very good." she tells the family.

Joshua slid off the back of the horse, looking around. Rylan's little sisters seemed to be like a whirlwind, and while there was a dinner invitation, he wasn't quite sure if it was extended to him.
"Right... I'm going to go back and see if Amelia's ok." He said, but nobody acknowledged him. Shrugging, he turned and started walking down the track towards Amelia's home.

Amelia was slowly going mad at home. She'd stumbled into the house, dead tired. Her toe hurt like anything, and she just wanted to sleep. But no, Vicky wanted to know every detail of her visit. When she'd mentioned Aura and Robby's apparent interest, Vicky shrugged it off, and asked how Aura looked. By the time she was done giving Vicky a very detailed summary, she'd managed to get a nap in. Only to be interrupted about a half hour later by the twins crying.
Sighing, Amelia got up and hobbled outside, grumbling about her family. Her wand was tucked in her sleeve as she got behind the barn, her favorite place to practice magic. She began waving her wand, trying the silent spells. Slowly the grass she had was changing shape into a teacup, and she watched it in awe.

Joshua finally reached Amelia's house, and knocked on the door. Vicky opened, and he smiled.
"Hello! Is Amelia in? I came to check how she is."

"You just missed her," said Vicky in a happy tone as she headed back to feeding the twins, "I think she's out by the barn, if you'd like to catch her. Don't worry, I won't tell the boys where you took her."
She gave him a cheeky wink as she said the last bit, before returning to wipe down Kent's face.

Joshua laughed. "I'll go see her now then, thank you!"
He went back out of the house and towards the barn. Amelia didn't seem to hear him approaching, and he was shocked to see that she had her wand out and was doing magic. He paused and watched for a minute, amazed.
"Wow." He said quietly, walking to stand next to Amelia.
