"This girl has got it right!" Felicia retorted, ignoring what Robby said as she nodded approvingly toward Aura. "You're going to get yourself killed, I won't stand for it! I can't stop Robby from going, but Rylan, you are forbidden from signing up!" Rylan sighed in exasperation as he struggled to explain.
"Mum, you said it yourself. You can't stop Robby from going, so he'll go. I have to go to make sure the idiot doesn't get himself killed, I promise I'll be careful. Anyways, the pay is really good so we could save some money up in case of... incidents."

"he has a point there. Robby, from the impression I've gotten, tends to be rash. Rylan is sensible enough to have some caution.." Aura tells Felicia. "I guess what I wonder is..." it is then that someone bumps the table and aura, who was burned hours before, gets soup spilled on her. She stands up suddenly for the table crying out in pain.

Robby frowned at Aura, but acknowledged she was defending their position, and said, "Rylan and I make a great team! Nothing could happen if we work together!"
Just then, Aura had the stew spilled on her. Robby immediately turned to her as she cried out, and worry entered his features as he stood up to help her out and asked, "You okay?! Ah- Napkins, need to clean her up." Once again he turned to Rylan, unsure what to do.

Rylan gave a thankful nod to Aura, while is mother sighed in exasperation. However, before they could respond to either Aura or Robby, the girl got splashed by hot soup. Unfortunately, Grace, whom had climbed onto Aura's lap earlier, was also hit by the heat. The girl let out a yelp.
Surprised, Rylan leaped to his feet. Felicia did the same, speaking as she walked over and picked up Grace, trying to shush her.
"Oh my!" She exclaimed, "Grace, calm down sweetie, it's just a burn. It'll be alright in a few minutes." The girl clutched her mother's dress, sniffling and tears cascading down her face. then Felicia turned to Aura, "Are you alright dear? We must take you into the kitchen and get that fixed up! Rylan, help her there. Victoria, go fetch my medicinal supplies, and Kaitlin, grab some rags and a bucket of water. I'm not quite as good as our town nurse, but I can manage a burn. When you're both done, go get Grace a change of clothing, along with some of your things, I'm sure Aura would fit fine in them."
The twins quickly disappeared to do as they were told, Rylan glancing once worriedly at his little sister before going to Aura to help, offering his hand out."
Rylan's father quickly turned to the other children, Heather and Patricia, moving to calm the two girls down.

Aura takes his hand and whispers "Is she going to be alright?" she throws a concerned look at Grace, who is still in her mothers arms.

Aura walks into the kitchen and takes time again to take at look at the home which felt more alive than either of hers ever did. While her parents taught her to always be respectful and kind to others, that feeling didn't always translate to her home life. It was nice to feel so cared for by people whom she had't know but for a few hours.

Robby had no clue what to do when kids started to cry, and girls got upset. He glanced at Aura, Grace, and the rest of the mess in the kitchen, before he sidled outside the kitchen, very slowly. Robby breathed a sigh of relief once he was outside, and then took a seat on the grass, before lying down as the cool, summer breeze washed over his face.
Amelia was giving Joshua her best impatient look. She sighed as she nodded, and began to plot again on the best way to remove Rylan from her hair. She sighed as she carefully glanced over Joshua, before asking, "What attracts a man to a woman?"

"I don't know?" Joshua laughed. "If it's just me talking, they have to be nice. That's a given, I suppose. It helps if they're pretty and you actually like them as a person, unlike my parents. But every man is different just as I imagine every woman is." He shrugged his shoulders, embarrassed. "I told you I was bad at this!"

Rylan, Along with the rest of the family was quick to follow to his mothers orders. The boy hurry for the room to follow the injured girl in case you needed any help. Briefly forgetting about his other friend he turned to the girls said, " How are you? Are you hurt badly?"

Amelia frowned at Joshua's explanation, and pouted as she moved closer with a more demanding look on her face.
"That doesn't explain anything!" said Amelia with a huff, "Aura's nice. And pretty. But what makes a woman stand out? There are lots of nice and pretty women out there! Haven't you ever been attracted to a woman before? What's the trigger?"

"I said I don't know!" Joshua sighed. "To be honest, you're the only girl I've ever actually interacted with! I don't get out of the house much, my father demands a lot of my time. There are the maids, but they're all horrible, gossipy people."

Amelia rolled her eyes. Typical male response. She tried to think for a minute, before a grin appeared on her face.
"Alright," said Amelia with a nod, "So you don't have experience with women! Let's get you some experience with women! You've met Vicky, you've met me, and now you've met Aura! So you have some idea of what women are like. But now we need to find you some more women to talk to. Shall we head to the village and meet some women then?"

"Wait, what?" Joshua frowned. "I'm completely lost now. I thought we were setting up Rylan and Aura? Why have I got to meet women?" He was quite embarrassed to admit he was rather scared by the idea.

Amelia giggled at Joshua's expression, delighted with her newest plan. Waving away Joshua's concern, she stowed her wand at her hip, under the folds of some of her dress, before returning her gaze to Joshua with a spark in her eye.
"Research," she said airily, "How are we supposed to know what attracts a man to a woman, and a woman to a man, if neither of us has any experience of the sort? Now, I'm a lady, and my brothers are murderous, so I can't do the research, but you can!"

"I do not like this plan at all." Joshua said flatly. "Is there anything we can do that doesn't rely on me making a complete and utter fool of myself? Besides, if I start flirting with random women, word will get back to my father and he'll kill me. Slowly."

If you're going to be running off as a Witch Hunter, the least you can do is be prepared to flirt with any strange woman you meet! It's a holy skill, as Robby puts it. Try it out. "That was awful!" said Amelia with a laugh, as she grinned, "You need to be witty! I can't believe you've never flirt before! And Kent and Robby always say nobles are slick as oil, women don't even know when they've slipped into their beds. Try something a bit more, I don't know, seductive! Lower your voice a little, that's how Kent does it when he was seducing Vicky."

"I panicked, okay!" Joshua said with a grin. "I warned you how terrible I was, and I wasn't lying! Hang on..." he cleared his throat and lowered his voice a little, cocking an eyebrow. "Has anybody ever told you you have nice hair?"
Even he was aware of how ridiculous he sounded, and he began to laugh.

"That- You don't seriously- Why hair?" asked Amelia, before doubling over in laughter alongside Joshua. She stood up, and cocked an eyebrow at Joshua, as she shook her head. "You weren't kidding when you said you're awful! It has to be- different!"
Amelia paused for a minute, before smiling wickedly.
"Just follow my lead!" she instructed, as she remembered an old scene from when Kent and Vicky used to flirt like teenagers and she would spy on them. Nervously, she raised an eyebrow at Joshua, pretending she was like Vicky, and said, "So, you've been visiting a lot, I noticed. Anything you saw here that you likes?"

"I don't know? Hair seemed like a sensible option at the time!" Joshua spluttered. When Amelia demonstrated flirting he went red and began to cough, ducking his head. "Sorry... Erm... I might have seen something?"

Amelia avoided laughing at his expression, suddenly curious to how embarrassed Joshua could get. He just seemed so innocent in this matter, and she kept her face calm as she continued, nodding seriously, "I see."
Turning away so Joshua didn't see her holding back a laugh, she looked back over her shoulder for a second to reply, "I see. And what you like, is it anything I should be aware of?"

Joshua stared at Amelia in shock, his face if possible going even redder. He was now approximately the same colour as a beetroot. "Well... I suppose so?" he stuttered.

Amelia was now coughing, pretending she wasn't giggling. It helped that her back was to Joshua, so she had no clue what he must appear to look like. However, she could very well imagine from the way he stuttered behind her.
"Is that so?" she asked, trying her best to maintain her serious expression, "And if I were to confess that I saw something I liked too, when you arrived, what would you say?"

Amelia nearly burst into laughter there, but she managed to calm herself. It took a minute or too of awkward silence, before she finally turned around, with a coy smile on her lips. This time she couldn't help herself from smiling as she imagined Joshua's reaction, but she confidently said, "I agree, very convenient. Tell me, what was it that you liked?"
