And hell, didn't Gordon even say that Dick made a better Batman?

I can't remember, but on the note of Batman, have you seen the Holy B@tman Musical by Starkid? I watched it just two days ago, and I fell in love.

Does anyone else find the Batman works of Grant Morrison frustrating? I liked his Arkham Asylum and Batman and Robin comics but some of his other works kind of leave me feeling cheated. Examples of this would be Batman R.I.P., Batman and Son, Batman: the Return of Bruce Wayne, and Final Crisis. Out of these arcs I would say that Final Crisis seems like a huge mess with the whole uber-crossover Morrison tried to do. I also think that at times Morrison forgets about the characters personalities and just starts spouting his philosopy on life through Batman and others. I enjoy his Doom Patrol comics and just started reading The Invisibles but it seems like he is a hit or miss Batman writer. This is only my opinion but I may just not understand his style.

Personally, I liked all of it, though I find Batman R.I.P. to be my least favorite.

Yeah, Batman R.I.P. still leaves me scratching my head wonder what the hell just happened. I can at least get by reading The Return of Bruce Wayne and some of Batman and Son, but Final Crisis still frustrates me. I think it would have been better if they had added another 100 pages to it.

I personally felt there should have been more to it.

It seemed a bit rushed for a major crossover, you know? It was like there was some scenes missing that could hhave cleared some stuff up.
On another note, did you know that they rereleased the Batman: Knightfall arc in three big volumes?

Yeah, the first two volumes have already been released and the third is coming out in September. They range anywhere from from $16.00 and $24.00 so far. For some reason they have the second volume, KnightQuest, is under review but there are other sellers.

I liked Arkham Asylum, and most of Grant does Doom Patrol rather well, but I completely agree that Final Crisis was lacking. I wouldn't have minded a longer comic over the rather, awkward, I guess, way things were done. I think the best Batman comic I found was the Killing Joke. I swooned on every page. The Joker and Batman compliment each other so well, I really thing they're the best hero/enemy pairing in the entire DC universe. As for buying comics, you need money for that, and I have no money

The Killing Joke was a wonderful read! You weren't the only one that swooned, Gnovella! <3
