Relief flooded through my veins as I heard that. An officer should be able to help me! I quickly reverted back to my normal form and poked my head up from where I was hiding. And sure enough, I saw what I was hoping to see - the police! If anyone could help me find Hiro and the others, surely they could? "Thank goodness!" I cried, darting over to them. "I thought I'd be stuck here for hours!"

The stranger i had seen before ran up to us, and i grimaced as i saw that they seemed unsteady on their feet. "Please, I might be able to help with your injuries. What did the do to you?"

"I-I'm not sure, really. It all happened so fast." I said, as I tried to recall my ordeal. "All I know is that there were these creepy people in masks, and one of them - a woman, I think - pointed her stick at me and said something weird. I think it was Crupio or Cutio or something like that..." I laughed weakly. "Sorry, I know this doesn't make any sense..."

[Miss Wings]

"Do you mean Crucio?" I butted in.

I flinched at the mention of the word. "Yeah, that's it..."

"Ouch, that's one of the Unforgivables that is. We have 3 of them. Crucio which causes the pain you've just experienced, Imperio which allows the castor to control a peron and Avada Kedavra which, well it kills you".

[Silvertongue]

From the sounds of their voices, Zuko thought it was obvious that whatever the masked woman had said or done was disgustingly horrifying and considering they could do magic, he shuddered to think just how awful it must have been. From what he knew, magic could do literally anything. It was no wonder this guy was shaking so badly. He wanted to offer some help but knowing nothing he could do would solve anything, Zuko just stayed back and watched the 'wizards' do their work. Questions could wait for later.

I blanched, remembering the last word from the attack on the community center. I had seen people hit by a green light after the words were used. Oh man, all those poor people! I felt sick just thinking about it.

"I-I remember seeing it during the attack..." I whispered, more to myself than the people around me. "Green light, right?"

[Miss Wings]

"yes" I whispered as I remembered what happened to Lily and I all those years ago.

"Are you alright...sir?" I asked, unsure of the man's name. I trembled a little, either from the memory or the "curse" as they called it.

I've decided to try first person again. Reading the other posts like that has me slipping into it accidentally, hehe.

I shouldn't have been surprised at the fact that they could kill someone with just a couple of words, they had the use of magic after all, but after fighting the way I have all my life, this seemed to cheat the very nature of life and death and made me very uneasy around these two wizards. I grimaced and hoped nobody noticed.

I had turned to scold James for giving so much away, but I could see the look on his face and I knew what he must have been reliving. I put an arm around his shoulder for support as I turned again to the guy with the pink hair. "Theres not all that much I can do about the side effects of the Cruciatus, I'm afraid. But this might help for the shock." i smiled kindly as I rummaged in my robe pocket for chocolate. "I find that chocolate helps."

I was silent, though I did shoot Zuko a look when he addressed me as Officer Rizzoli. It was Detective, thank you!

The conversation between the men had me reeling, but I tried to keep a mask of stone as to avoid confrontation. My hand slowly made its way back to my gun, as to reassure myself that if any of these people attacked, I'd have it at the ready.

Curses? Torture? People in masks? What had I stepped into? The only case like this was that time Frost and I arrested a guy with a doll fetish, but this took the prize for weirdest case. I turned to the one person I could honestly question: the person with the pink hair.

"Can you describe your attackers? Height, weight, skin color?"

Please tell me I didn't just end up in something that I'm not prepared for, I couldn't help but think. Where's Frankie when you need him?

"If she used a baby voice, its Bellatrix." I all but growled. "She has it in for me and my wife, and a particular fondness for that spell."

I almost snorted in disdain when one of the 'wizards' suggested the apparent torture victim eat some chocolate. Did he seriously think chocolate would help for something like that? I noticed the woman's hand inching towards her gun and touched her very lighly on the arm to gain her attention, hoping to shake my head at her discreetly to let her know that I didn't believe these people meant any harm.

"What grown woman still talks in a baby voice when not talking to actual babies?" I blurted out without realizing I was talking and not thinking. When the brunette mentioned that this person--Bellatrix--had it in for him and his wife, I turned from the pink haired person and back to him.

"Why?" I asked. "And why the hell aren't you in Witness Protection if this crazy is out on the streets?"

Yeah I was starting to show my Rizzoli temper but it was a long day, there'd been an explosion, people claiming their bodies weren't their own....one could see why I was beginning to get stressed. Feeling a hand on my arm, I looked over at the man I was accompanying to find out why he'd done that.

"I...um..." All this was so overwhelming. I had trouble trying to figure out what was going on. But at the mention of that woman, I sobered up. "Well, I-I remember a baby voice, and even heard the name Bella. There were two others. All three of them wore black cloaks with white masks on..." he paused for a moment, thinking if there was any other useful information. "And they mentioned something about a lord," I sighed. "Look, I don't know what's going on! All I want is to find my band mates, manager and producer. I've been searching for a while now and I can't find them!"

[Silvertongue]

When the officer looked over, I shook my head slightly and leaned forward to murmur in her ear. "I really don't think this is the best way to go about things. When I spoke to them earlier, they seemed friendly enough."

I turned away from her and back towards the group. "Perhaps we should find somewhere private to sit down and talk about everything? I'm sure you two won't want this converstaion overheard?" I aimed this towards the 'wizards'.

I hope Shuchi isn't coming off as too obnoxious. He's a bit of a goof, crybaby and worrywart at times, so I'm just trying to stay in character. If I do annoy you, let me know loves.

I know. I've seen the anime. I think any character coming from anime is going to be a little over the top like that. I think my Zuko is being OOc actually, but I haven't actually seen it in a long time.

Yeah, that's true. And that's where I got the inspiration for Shuichi's powers... all the weird little things he does serve a purpose in this role play. *grins*

"I can take you to my house, if you're willing to travel our way? Tonks is at her parents by now, so we'd be alone, and its very well protected."

"Um, I don't know what 'our way' means, but wouldn't mind." I mumbled. "Just as long as it isn't painful."

I nodded as Zuko told me that he didn't think I was handling things well. What could I say? It was training when dealing with odd balls and possible murders. Oh, and lets not forget the head of the Irish Mob.

The man had turned away before I could respond and was talking to the other men. Something about not wanting this conversation to be overheard. I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as the brunette asked if we didn't mind traveling their way. What in the world was he talking about? Was he on drugs? If so....nah, didn't want to know.

I nodded at this piece of information, having no comment on it. I've had plenty of discomfort in my life, so what's a little more?

I thought about it for a second, knowing it was something to do with magic. If it was very fast, the only thing I could think of was some form of teleportation? Could they do that? I wasn't sure whether I liked that idea, as, if they weren't trustworthy, then I'd be in their hands with no idea what they could do to me or where the hell I was. In the end, I decided to go with my gut instinct and nodded with only a slight hesitation.

"Fine. But one of you so much as even moves funny and you'll get burnt," I threatened, sure in the fact that htye had no idea what I meant by that.

Sighing, I nodded in agreement to the brunette man. I had my gun, along with the lifetime of experience having two little brothers gives you. Maybe this way, I could get some answers.
