My shoulders slumped in defeat. "Oh." I mumbled, feeling incredibly stupid. I hadn't been thinking clearly, but then, when do I? "I'm sorry...it's just..." I wanted to explain myself, but just couldn't. My friends...oh gods! I turned away from them as I felt my eyes well up with tears.

I stared at Remus coldly, not even regretting yelling at him. The boy was still seventeen, regardless of whether or not that was 'of age.' But I knew in order to get along, I'd have to apologize.
"Sorry," I mumbled, apologies weren't my style. "I'm just...not used to all this. It's a lot to take in."

"I would appriciate it if you stopped giving my son grief. I don't like it anymore than you do but he's my son and i'll stand by him in this mess. Besides it's Dumbledore's fault, can't wait for my wife to give him his commupence. I'd have done it myself but I can't" I replied coldly. I wasn't happy about this mess myself.

I sent James a small smile. "He'll be fine, James. You've seen some of the messes he's gotten into before. Anyway, I don't think its Dumbledore's fault, he didn't really have a choice."
