I walked towards the dark man, holding out one arm towards him and stretching the other towards the pink haired man. "You're going to have to hold onto my arm, please. Tightly. James, can you get the officer, please?" I was sure at this point, she would be hesitating. After all, James had started screaming about being dead. I looked over at her, and gave what I hoped was a reassuring smile.
"When we get to my house, I promise I'll answer any questions you may have."

I gave the Detectivea reassuring smile, which definitely came out as a grimace, and gave my attention back to the older guy.
"What about Pinky of over there?" I asked, jerking my head in the pink-haired boy's direction as I took hold of the guy's arm

I grinned at the dark man. "He can come with us, don't worry." He took hold of my arm and I grabbed onto the pink haired man.
"I'll see you in a few minutes, James." I smiled once more at my friend before turning on the spot.

Once Remus disapeared I took a deep breath before focusing on the house that I had seen in the afterlife. "Remus? You there?" I asked as I looked around me.

In a few seconds we were inside my house. Glancing around, everything seemed well...apart from the fact that Tonks seemed to have walked out of the picture on the wall.
There was another crack behind me, and James appeared in the room with the police officer. I smiled at him and gestured to the threadbare sofa.
"Right. We'll answer any questions you may have."

The brunette had given the task of appointing the guy who had originally been shouting of being previously dead to transport me. Great. Zuko shot me some sort of look--I couldn't tell if it was a smile or a grimace. That made me feel loads better. Before I could react, the messy haired man grabbed me and in a blink of an eye we were all in one home.
"What the hell?" I exclaimed. "What just happened?"

I wobbled a little as I landed and immediately placed a hand over my mouth and turned away, swallowing and breathing deeply to try to get rid of the nausea. Feeling I was over the worst of it, I rubbed my eyes and looked around blearily.
"Well, that was the most fun I've ever had," I remarked sarcastically. I'd thought flying on Appa was bad!

Oh man, I'm behind aren't I? Sorry I didn't respond for a while. I had a checkup to go to.

"Who's Hiro?" I asked feeling even more foolish. We were all in the same situation now. Complete strangers to one another (Remus being the exception) with no idea what was going on.

Granted, I wasn't paying close attention to the conversation between the three men as I was a tad distracted by my surroundings--did one of the pictures just MOVE?
But I did hear names, and now knew that now was the time for introductions.
"Jane Rizzoli," I told the pink haired man, the brunette and the messy haired man. Had they already said their names? Maybe, but I didn't catch them.

I gave the brunette--Remus--a small smile as I shook the offered hand. "A pleasure," I said and couldn't help being reminded of Maura. I didn't know why, but Remus just reminded me of my best friend in a way that I couldn't name.
"So, what caused that explosion?" I sighed and asked, hoping to get down to business so I could go back to apartment hunting.

I hadn't really been listening to the conversation. As soon as I'd uncovered my eyes they'd fallen on a moving picture. I'd looked around and noticed quite a few things that seemed a bit odd and moved off to the far side of the room, checking spine labels of the shabby books in the rather dusty bookshelf. It wasn't until a few minutes late that I realised they'd started talking without me and shuffled over sheepishly.
"A scheduled attack? Like terrorists?" I asked.

"Bellatrix, the one you came into contact with, is pretty much second in command. Which is why it isn't ideal that she wants to kill me."
