Maybe Molly's parents approved or encouraged her brothers, and she felt angry about it and became irrational and blamed them for the death. This idea has so many ways to take it.
And who said Molly was logical? She's simple-minded after all, I doubt she'd think of the complexities beyond, this is the problem, this is the solution, and there are no other factors to consider.

That's a possibility I could see, yes, and it would probably explain why she is fighting tooth and nail against her own kids having anything to do with the war. I'm just surprised that she even accepted coming to Grimmauld Place, or that Arthur went on guard duty, as that would involve them, even if not to the same extent.
Good point, logic isn't her strong point. Plus, she lacks life experience, being married straight out of school and being a stay-at-home-mum, and can't understand that her rather limited world isn't what she wants it to be and that there can be factors out of her control that are influencing her ideal little world.

Oh yes. Molly has the flaw - no compromises. Well, she could have seen that her brothers died, after her parents encouraged it, and now she doesn't want her children to die, or something like that. Well... Imagine how she acts with the children now, especially George and Ginny, after she lost Fred. Luckily they live in a peaceful world now.

She's probably want to lock them up in the Burrow and never let them out again ...

Probably...
*shivers* The whole Wizarding World is messed up. Or Wizarding Britain, at least.

You know, I wonder how it works between her and Harry now. She'd try to smother his children, too, and I wonder if he'd let her. He would want them to have their grandparents, but probably not like when Molly goes overboard. And can he stand up to her when she's always thinking she knows better?

I think Harry would have grown a backbone for the most part, but would sometimes have trouble saying no to her.

Oh yes... But if Molly wants grandchildren, she must let them out... It makes me wonder if Audrey and Angelina managed to get into Molly's good book. Hermione has been in the family for ages, and Harry... Well, she jumped probably of joy, when they announced their engagement.

I think if Angelina helped George get out of his depression, she'd shove them down the aisle. And with Audrey, probably a bit more reserved since she'd know nothing about her.

Ahh... True, true. Thought about that too. Audrey... Hmm... Perhaps Percy was destroyed about not reconcile with the family earlier, and then Fred died in front of Percy, few hours after they had made peace, and then Audrey makes him happy again, and Molly shoves them toward the aisle too... Or just the fact, that Audrey named her eldest after Molly.

Why did I now just have a vision of Molly wanting to enlarge the Burrow for all the new couples so that she doesn't have to let her chickens go, and can take care of the next generation as well? I'm really bad when it comes to her, am I?

Hahah... Molly would fight against the new parents how they should raise the children. And she would probably be using something like : "I raised seven children! And you're married to one of them!"

*snicker* That should be "I raised seven children and know better than you how to do it!"

Either that, or she'd encourage all her babies to work and continuously hound them to let her spoil-babysit her grandkiddies. And eventually when they cry not to go since grandma's house is fun (Anyone else picture as eat, play, do whatever you want as long as you don't kill each other grandma?), she'd cry too.

Hahah, or that.
Oh yeah... The parents would just get to tired of it, and send them off to grandma x)

Exactly. And that would be reason enough to move to the wilds of anywhere far away from Ottery St. Catchpole.

So was mine, but to a point of being almost dangerous. She let me jump on the bed, climb the glass dining table, and since she can get things upon delivery, ordered twelve cans of coke one night and let me drink six in the same night. And I wasn't even her first or youngest grandkid, but I know I'm her favorite and it wasn't out of neglect, it was just she said, your happy so I'm happy. I don't think she understands danger much...

Yeah, my mother and aunts had a field day trying to explain she was wrong. My gran calmed down as we got older, but the first few years she was too excited to really comprehend how she was harming us.

Hah... My grandmother was like that on a lower degree. Just that I could do whatever I wanted, but not fight with my siblings. She hates it when we fight, and gets al this sad look, that we stop instantly x)

My grandmum had rather strange ideas of what's a healthy diet - fat and sugar mostly. But she was the one who put her foot down and talked my parents in allowing me to learn to ride horses

Really. If someone else gives me cake, it's unhealthy, right? But when she's doing it (with more sugar than the other one) then it doesn't have any calories Be glad, it saves you some grey hairs

Very good logic Hah, perhaps. But it would be a bit fun to have a strange grandmother.
