Darting out into the corridor of the train, I heard the door slam shut behind me. 'At least it's empty here,' I thought, thankful to be away from humans for a time. Walking up and down the corridor, I noticed that every single compartment was full of people, and that all of them had their doors shut. With nowhere to hide in the hallway, I waited until a door opened, and then slipped inside. It was a bathroom, small and stuffy, but at least only one person would ever show up at a time, and there were more places to hide. I slinked in behind the toilet and lay down, waiting.

I nodded grimly. "There are horrible things that I've seen." I looked to the unicorns. "Though this isn't something that foals need to hear."

Jie blinked, he was unsure of how to respond though, so he merely bowed his head. Kei nodded her thanks to the phoenix.

"When the foals are gone, I shall explain what the outside world has been like."

Hesitating, Kei turned to her two foals and gently said, "Jei, take your sister and go back to the herd, Alert them that the humans may be revolting against us and that I'll provide more details later. Hurry and don't dilly-daddle." The boy nodded immediately and nuzzled his sister, who reluctantly followed as the two trotted off.

Lucinda let out a long, tired trill. "Thank you kindly. I apologize if what I said was rude, but I didn't want to frighten them. By the way, what is your name? In all the excitement, I forgot to ask."

"My name is Lexie. Nice to officially meet you" I added with a small bow.

"A pleasure to meet you, Lexie. May light shine in your darkest hours." Lucinda replied, using the old, formal phoenix greeting.

"It is good to meet you, and your children, Kei. May the three of you flourish beautifully." She bowed her neck to everyone for a moment and then met their eyes once more. "There are a lot of things wrong with this world today. runespores are being slaughtered for their skins, the demiguise are now extinct, as are two species of dragons - Green Welshes and Gray Europeans. For their blood, fangs, claws and hides. The centaurs in Italy are caged and made to be things of amusement and joy now. And many glories of unicorns around the world have been killed as well - for their coats, horns, blood, and hooves, I'm afraid. And that is only the beginning. Even phoenixes are no longer safe." Lucinda screwed her eyes shut at the memory of her last partner, the one whom had brutally betrayed her. "In short, creatures everywhere are suffering."

"It's truly sick and I have no idea how it started. I joined because of well, revenge against an old family and well I don't like what's happening. Do you know why it started Acidious?"
"I'm afraid that I don't. You know me Lex. I'm an outsider more than you are. Hell you know I'm not a normal Phoenix Lex. I'm not a goody goody Phoenix but a grey one."

"Thank you for your kind words," Kei said, her voice noticeably less gentle and soft now that the two young ones were gone. "It's really dreadful that the humans would be so... tortuous. They are forgetting their kindness and love toward others in favor power."

"Indeed, Kei. They've forgotten so much over the years." Lucinda trilled sadly. "I do not know the identity of the person who started this yet, but the movement originated within the Pure-blood families. I'm sorry that I cannot be of more help."

"I've seen them involved, yes, but the same is with many other Pure-bloods. I don't quite understand how they formed their little group, but that group's influence has spread throughout the world in recent years." She frowned in thought. "They call themselves the Purists, and have their own agendas for this world."

I must have dozee off, because the next thing I knew, the train whistle was blowing. I did not know if we had reached our destination yet, but decided to take a peek and see. The corrirdor was once again full of people pushing past each other, this time making for a cart that was being pushed down the narrow hall. Before I could make it back to the sanctuary behind the toilet, I felt myself being scooped up by a small pair of arms.

Lucinda gazed at her for a moment, but decided to let the mistake lie. Apparently, the girl had a grudge against the Potters and the Weasleys. Well, whatever it was, it wasn't any of her business. "Right now, we need to watch, listen, wait and prepare. The forest is safe, and will remain so by the bond of my vow if need be. At the moment, I would suggest starting this day like you would any other, as I will be busy speaking with the rest of the forests' denizens. Remember, think my name if you need my aid, and I shall assist you."
And with that, she flashed away from them, looking for the next group of creatures to talk with. Eventually, it would come down to talking with the Professors she mentioned earlier, and she wasn't quite ready for that.

Since everyone went their own way I decided to follow my instincts and check the train. Every little helps, right? It turns out that I had been right to follow my instincts because I found a little girl being bullied by red and black haired people. I knew she was no normal witch either.
"OI, clear off now before I get my dagger on you!" I screamed at them. They took one look at me before clearing off, I was finally able to see the girl and got a shock. "Your a Potter aren't you?"
"Yes I'm one of them" she said in contempt.
I did feel sorry for her at that moment. "May I ask why?" I said as I ripped a sleeve from my arm and used it to stop the major wound on her leg.
I looked around me to make sure no one else was near by before replying. "I'm not like them. I'm a good Potter and I've never liked what they did to my great Uncle Albus, they kicked him out of the family for being a vampire, it's not like it was his fault that he got left alone in Diagon Alley that one time, besides I also found Grandma Ginny's journal and it turns out that she couldn't cope with what happened to Uncle Albus. She didn't know how to understand it and so that's why she thought it would be best to adandon him. Can I tell you a secret?"
Now I really felt for her. "Of course you can" I told her in my softest voice.
"I'm a vampire. I was turned by the same one who bit my Uncle Albus. He said something about the balance being tipped and that I wouldn't regret my decision to join Lexie, whoever that is."
Okay now I was really shocked. My entire beliefs had been changed in one short conversation. I'd have to play this one very carefully. "Can I tell you a secret? I'm Lexie and your Uncle Albus is my Grandpa but he changed his name to Albert George Phillips. Now I'll help you get up to the school and then I need to go back to patrolling the forest. Don't worry, you'll be safe from outside interference but I need you to be honest with the Healer. Not about the vampire part but about who did this to you. Okay?"
"I understand. Oh and my names Calla Abbie Potter."

Eleazar was at the Ministry Of Magic, examining over some papers... About Magical Creatures? He remembered the Forbidden Forest, full of various creatures and monsters. Now it was to be... Purged? Eleazar couldn't fathom the reason for such an order, Had a student been attacked? That must be it, the creatures must be getting restless and running rampant.
He clutched his wand anxiously, he didn't like the idea of hurting magnificent creatures, but if it needed to be done to protect the children of Hogwarts...

((So an attack on Hogwarts now, huh? Heehee alright. This should be fun! ) Maxwell took his sweet time in walking out from the Minister's office. It hadn't taken much to demand a purge of Hogwarts' Forbidden Forest - a push here, a push there and playing at a few deep-rooted fears. And of course, the golden glint of galleons made his suggestions more than impossible to resist. Yes, now that the rest of the world was forsaking magical creatures, it only made sense that Hogwarts would have to as well.
The time of magical creatures has come to an end, and I shall be our liberator. And if a few well-meaning students and professors are harmed? Well that is there fault, isn't it? If not for his walls of Occlumency, he would have laughed triumphantly.

I sat at my desk, chewing my lower lip nervously. My office was just three floors away from the minister's, what an honor! I'd never felt more conflicted. An attack at the Forbidden Forest! What on earth was the minister thinking? It felt so wrong to hurt them in all their anatomical beauty.
"Not your job Alice" I reminded myself, "And besides, the minister was ever so nice when he said hello the other day in the elevator."
I continued to clear out the pages. Ever since the ministry started getting more anti-creatures, my desk was swamped with posters, diagrams, and various propaganda to spur the people against creatures. I stared at them, my mind remembering the old, dusty pages my mother wrote in a long time ago. But they were gone, burned with my house and possessions. Never had I been more alone.
I began erasing and correcting. How could anyone say an Acromantula's legs were it's only danger? Or that a Unicorn was easy to capture? Or that a phoenix's tongue looked like a regular bird's? I got up and headed towards the elevator, the errors bothering me far too much. How were people going to be prepared if they didn't have correct information?
I waited outside the elevators, soon they would come.

Humanity. Was there anything more disgusting? I eyed the weak, ugly, traitorous bastards from my home in Scotland. Long ago I had isolated myself to a small house in the hills of Scotland. Nothing was more beautiful than the green around me, the land. And occasionally, a human child might stumble across here from the village down below. They said this place was haunted. Of course it was. I was here.
I turned away as I say the paper. The Prophet. A rubbish paper invented by the wand-carriers. The cover already had messages against us. The propaganda was stirring. I could feel my grin starting as my long fingers traced over the cover.
Magical Creatures: Menace to us all!
The hints of war were splattered over the page, but the wand-carriers had yet to make a move. I wasn't stupid, attacking without provocation and this war would rest on my shoulders.
I went back to eyeing the dumb creatures below. Pitiful, traitors. Liars. Scum. All of them. Let the battle begin, than-
I grabbed an axe, and swung it down onto the ground, beginning my routine exercises. Oh yes, war was so sweet. This was a battle for survival, and there were only two options, us or them.

Eleazar eventually got up from his reports, the papers that detailed the menace the magical creatures were becoming. He was firm on his belief that they must be slaughtered, for the sake of Wizards and Witches. They weren't safe. After a deep breath, he left the Aurors office to stop for a cup of tea that was just in the hall way in a little dip in the walls, where a nice puffy couch sat. He took small sips, watching others pas by, wondering if they were aware of the coming fights.

The elevator arrived and I headed to the Auror office. They'd need the correct diagrams obviously. I wondered if anyone there could help. I began peeking around until I saw a man on a couch drinking coffee.
"Excuse me? Can I get some help?" I asked, clutching my papers nervously as I flashed the man a smile.

(*Cough*tea*cough* ) Eleazar looked up at the woman, and didn't hesitate before setting down his cup on a little side table and standing up, smiling back. "How can I be of assistance Ma'am?" He asked in a friendly voice.

I noticed it wasn't coffee, but tea he was drinking. Like my father, never a man for coffee.
"I was wondering if I could find someone who I could write a complaint to. All these diagrams seem incorrectly labelled," I said brightly.
He seemed so kind and nice. I knew he'd take me seriously, despite my lack of qualifications.
