"We'll need to start using spells for cleaning, and ask the students to clean as well," said Henry with a sigh. "It'll compromise their education, but we're in a war, I'm sure they'll learn plenty."

Sewlyn frowned. "It's at times like these that I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing." he said, feeling defeated. "I wonder if I should just call this whole thing off."

"Maybe it's for the best," said Henry woefully, "We don't even know how to support our students. Hogwarts shouldn't be involved in a war. But. I know you Selwyn. Something might come up. Oh, I don't know, it's your decision. Do you think we should call it quits?"

Sewlyn shook his head. "If things don't go well with Mrs. Barlow today, I'm pulling out. Apparently, both she and her husband are very well off."

"Ms. Barlow?" asked Henry, instantly recognizing the name. There was no way she was involved! He couldn't believe it! What was she doing in this situation? "I think I may be acquainted with her, would you like me to stay and help ease the meeting?"

The three of them arrived at the school in no time at all, having apparated as close as they could to the school. They would have taken the floo, but Olivia didn't want to ruin her new robes. Besides, they had nothing to hide. Coming this way was only proper.

Olivia felt a surge of pity for him. Ewan had never gotten to enjoy the school, and all it had to offer. And all because of the prejudice against werewolves! "Yes, it is rather impressive, isn't it?"she said this as they walked together. "And one day, every witch and wizard will be allowed to attend - no matter what they've got inside them."
"Very." Daniel agreed. "It is even finer than Beauxbatons' building. Then again, I wouldn't expect a great man like Sewlyn to work anywhere less."

As they continued their walk, Olivia and Daniel took great pleasure in Ewan's curiosity. The poor lad had never gotten to attend, after all.

Olivia chuckled at the idea. "Maxwell would pitch a fit, I'm sure! That man is far too stuck up in his ways." She went ahead of Daniel and Ewan up the staircase and knocked on the door.
"Come in!" called a voice.

Olivia entered, with Daniel and Ewan behind her. "Hello." she said brightly. "My name is Olivia Barlow. It is a pleasure to meet you, Headmaster Richards." She took a seat beside Henry. "It is good to see you again, Henry. How have you been?"

"It's a pleasure," said Henry, kissing Olivia's fingertips, "I've been well, and you? Though your appearance suggests you've been more than well since our last tragic meeting. I see you brought your nephew as well, good day, Maxy, was it?"

Sewlyn regarded the woman before him. Olivia was a stunning, powerful woman, and her escorts looked just as strong.
"I am doing well, thank you." Olivia said, her mood somber. "Yes, it was most tragic. And such a sad way to go, too." She shook her head, thinking about the years of brainwashing Brayden must have gone through.
"My condolences, Mrs. Barlow." Sewlyn replied sadly. "Brayden was one of the best and brightest students I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with. He will be greatly missed."
Olivia nodded curtly. "Thank you, Headmaster."
"Please, call me Sewlyn, my dear. Headmaster is nothing more than a title."

"Technically it's Ewan but I'm not so keen on that so I go by a shortened version of my middle name, Maximillion and I'm just so excited to finally be in Hogwarts. Can I just ask you a question? How is my brother doing?" Maxy inquired.

"Ah, yes," said Henry with a smile, "An excellent student, he seems well. He has quite a few friends, and is quite a hard-worker. But he's very easily distracted. One of my favorite students. I teach Defense at the school, and I'm the Head of Gryffindor."

"Of course." Olivia looked directly at Sewlyn. The man had a ragged, tired look about him. The sign of someone who has been working far too hard, to be sure. "Sewlyn, my husband and I are prepared to offer you not just funds, but the influence of some of the remaining pure blood families."
"Really?" Sewlyn asked, looking interested. There was a glimmer of hope in his eyes. "And may I ask what has brought on this bout of charity? Not that I don't appreciate it, of course."
"I'm not going to lie to you, Sewlyn, my reasons go beyond simple charity." Olivia said, grimly. Now, she would lay all her cards out on the table. If she was going to fight, she would need allies. "Your cause is my cause - the support of magical creatures. For years, I've been keeping tabs on Brayden's father, Maxwell. He is the one behind this recent downward spiral."
Sewlyn frowned. "Ah yes, him. Somehow, I should have known that he was involved. That man has been the cause of many anti-creature laws."
"Yes, unfortunately. Sadly, he has been left unchecked for far too long. I intend to bring him to justice. Which is why I shall make this offer to you; in exchange for the continuance of this protest, I, the Lovegoods, the Wintersons, the Historical Society and a few other groups I've spoken with, are prepared to support Hogwarts financially."

Henry broke into a large smile, while inwardly impressed and panicked. Olivia had created a large standing of groups, and undone all the hard work he had created. It was easy to see Olivia moving to create a much more stable Hogwarts, and if that was the case, he'd be doomed. He considered his reply carefully.
"That's wonderful! Selwyn, this the move we've needed! We can use this to our advantage to build up the school! How did you manage this Olivia?" he asked with excited relief.
