First Olympic games you ever watched?
The first games I watched fully was the 92 games in Barcelona. I have a few memories of the 88 Games in Seoul.

The first Olympic games I watched were Sydney 2000. I vaguely remember seeing bits from the 96 Atlanta games too, but I wasn't all that interested back then. I was only eight.

I saw some of the Bejing Olympics because I'm not big into sports. I'm watching several of these London events.

********MENS HANDBALL SPOILER*************
Oh wow just saw the awesome men's handball between Hungary and Iceland. Iceland was heavily favored. Hungary led for over 90% of the game and Iceland tied it up with a minute or so left in play. They went to Extra Time (OT in the US) and it remained tied, so they had a 2nd ET and Hungary the huge underdog upset Iceland. It was AWESOME! I love handball!

Not that I know of, no. We have set ourselves up for at least one guaranteed silver/gold today.

Team GB is definitely guaranteed either gold or silver in the Women's flyweight boxing with Nicola Adams in the final. There's also a guaranteed medal in one of the sailing classes as well. I don't know about anything else, but there is a chance that Mo Farah can get gold in the 5000, and that a Brit can get a gold in the women's 1500.

I know I watched some of the 2000 Olympics, but I don't really remeber that as I was six. The first one I clearly remember is Athens in 2004.

I don't think I've ever watched the Olympics before. Haven't really watched this one either except for some soccer and diving. I'm kinda upset that I missed the gymnastics though. I was looking forward to that.

I've never really watched the olympics, and I'm not really following this one, or planning to follow the next.

Yes, today. The competition finished less than an hour ago. Laura Bechtolsheimer got Bronze and Charlotte Dujardin got Gold, while their team-mate Carl Hester came fifth.

Did you see the pile-up the men had in the BMX today?
That was horrific, with only one of the eight escaping unscathed.

This may sound dumb, but what's BMX?
Also, did anyone watch the final for Women's Beach Volleyball? It was quite interesting as it was an all-American one. The announcer was saying that the last time it was one country at the finals was in 1996. I had mixed feelings about who I wanted to win, but I'm glad that Misty and Kerri are still the queens of beach volleyball as it was their last Olympics as a team.

Oh, I think I might have seen a bit of that the other day, but I had no idea what it was called. We generally only watch the primetime stuff, which is track and field, swimming, diving, and gymnastics for the most part, so I rarely see anything else.

Don't worry, think of it as learning something new everyday.
At the moment, GB has the best amount of gold medals in about 100 years, give or take 2 years.
I was planning to watch some wrestling, unfortunately for me I was going to support the USA with Kurt Angle, but he withdrew due to injuries.

The last time GB did as well, or better, in the Olympics, was in 1908, when they got 56 Golds, 51 Silvers and 39 Bronzes. Currently they have 24 Golds, 13 Silvers and 14 Bronzes.
