"Enough, Baleston, she's a Noble lady," said Byron, enjoying her discomfort. "We shall be wed within four weeks time! I shall leave you scally-wags here as my newest maiden and I open a new chapter in our lives. Return to your lunches, men!"
With that depressing statement, he turned back to Jacquelyn, and whispered, "Kiss my cheek, as though excited."

Jacquelyn tried to keep smile, and it got strained. If these man didn't soon start to act nice, she would slap them. Seriously. She knew a woman shouldn't go around and slap strangers, especially nobles, as she was sure some of them were.
She was relieved, when Byron said something, although he didn't seem to have anything against it, which only furthered her hatred of him.
"Okay," she said in a low tone, and kissed his cheek quickly with a beaming smile. Anyone watched really closely would see the strain it took her.

Byron once again felt dirty, but lead her away. He was quiet now, away from the soldiers. He looked morose and upset. Rarely did he let his emotions get control but the knowledge that he was really going to be giving all this up seemed to hurt more than he'd originally thought. It wasn't that he didn't want to train newer men, but some bonds were irreplaceable. He had grown with these soldiers in the last ten years of his life. Those were the happiest days of his life, and he wondered now with the addition of a wife, he'd ever be truly happy again.

Jacquelyn was quiet, and she wondered if she would dare to critics these men, but decided not to. Byron seemed to be pretty close with them, and there was no reason to anger him. She had to choose which fight to pick.
"That spot I mentioned is close," she only said, as they walked.

Byron snapped out of his thoughts, remembering Jacquelyn was on his arm. He nodded, and spoke, "When we get their, we must act like a couple does when they are alone, can you handle such a performance?"

Jacquelyn frowned. "But there is no one to see us," she said, and tried to figure a way out, so this wouldn't happen until her wedding was done. She could of course manage it, but she still shuddered by the thought.

Byron rolled his eyes at her. "We needn't go all the way, but I've already dropped a few hints with a few gossiping soldiers that I'll be visiting a spot like this with you. People will be moving by, desperate to see if it's true or not. We can wait until someone begins to approach. If you're uncomfortable, I'll force myself unto you slightly, and you reject claiming impropriety and a want to wait for the wedding."

Jacquelyn clenched her jaw and glared at him furiously, while the ideas swirled in her mind, any ways out of this. One more month. That was all she prayed for. She hadn't done any mental preparing or anything like that yet. She scoffed of his suggestions inside. "I won't. I don't care, but you're not allowed to this this before the wedding," she said firmly.

"Of course not," said Byron, tiring of the woman's inanity. "I'm not interested in taking you that way in the slightest. I simply mean I shall kiss you for a bit, and if you can, return them. Someone who's watching will want to claim the news immediately. At some point, I shall try to make further advances, and you shall reject out of maidenly coyness. As if I wanted you before the wedding to begin with."

Jacquelyn was by the time getting angrier and angrier over her situation, that she couldn't do something to escape this. Well, she had no intention to try to return the kiss, when it came. And then he insulted her! She pressed her mouth, and glanced the spot, where they were close to arrive.
"Fine," she said, and wanted to yank her hand out of his. "And as if I wanted you," she added. She knew it was a poor insult, but it was the first that came in her mind in this poor situation.

Byron rolled his eyes in response to the woman's jibe. She was lucky to even be near him. He didn't say anything, however, and instead looked around the castle for someone. When they tucked themselves into what was a small crevice in the wall, barely enough to hold the two of them, he turned away. It was difficult in this position since if he took even a step forward, he'd be pressed against her. He kept his eye trained down the hall, and leaned back.
"Look out for anyone's arrival," he said softly, "And stick to your side of the wall, otherwise I may have to doubt your motives."

Jacquelyn wanted to scream at this thing, but she stayed level-headed, as she was pressed toward the wall. It was impossible to even take one step forward, and she kept breath levelly, as she counted in her head, and looked out at the hallway, and promptly ignoring him, as she didn't say a word to him, only kept her gaze at the hall.

Finally, Bryon saw a giggling maid and soldier arriving. Obviously young lovers searching for a place to hide. They'd make perfect people to gossip with, he nodded to Jacquelyn, as he pressed himself against her. His arm snaked around her waist, oulling her close enough so that even his breath could be felt on her cheek.
"I love you, my dear," he said in his best lover's voice, and slightly louder then he would if this was really a romantic situation, as the giggling stopped, "And I cannot wait to give you everything of mine on our wedding."
As he said this, he leaned over, and began to trail light kisses on her cheek, moving along her jaw towards her lips

Jacquelyn froze by the maid and soldier's arriving, and although she had known that someone would arrive, she had hoped that it wouldn't happen anyway. But now the inevitable had happened, and she felt his breath on her cheek, and wondered where this would go. Obviously as he had said earlier.
As he kissed her along her jaw, she suddenly felt happy that she would be hiding in his estates. There would probably not be so much public show as there was in this castle. She shook her self into this. There was an act to do.
"I love you too," she said, and was about to throw up inside, and let him do all the work.

Byron rolled his eyes at her lack of acting, and desperate to stop with the nonsense of whispering sweet nothings, he pressed his lips to hers, as the maid and soldier began walking by at what seemed like an incredibly slow pace. He shut his eyes, and brought Jacauelyn closer into the embrace, kissing her gently, and warmly, as if they were actual lovers.

Jacquelyn had her eyes closed, as it would be too creepy to look at Byron's cold eyes, and was about to jump out of her skin, when he kissed her on her mouth. Unfortunately she couldn't protest yet, and almost hoped he would do the forcing thing, so she could escape. Did the maid and soldier knew it was them, and therefore were that slow, or ... was one of the things that flew in her mind.

Thankfully, he heard the maid begin to talk again, and his name cropping up as the two keft, he broke the kiss immediately, and nodded to Jacquelyn. "I think we've done enough for the day. We can wait here a few minutes more, and if no one shows up, we can leave. I trust you can escort yourself?"

Jacquelyn breathed out relieved that it was finally finished.
"Of course, I can manage myself," she said coolly, and her cool attitude up again, now it was finished. "I'll be more concerned about you."

Bryon rolled his eyes as he leaned back. He glared at Jacquelyn, and wiped his lips with his hand, "Have you ever heard of kissing? For someone so confident, your terrible at it. Thank the lord I won't be kissing you when we're married."

Jacquelyn shrugged. "Of course I have. I just don't want to waste it on you," she said, and straightened her dress, and looked to the hall. It was empty. She took a few step outs, until she was out of that spot. "Well, I'm leaving now."

Byron ignored her as he strolled out. He kept a decently happy expression, thrilled to be away from the weed Hebrew bringing into his life. His only regret was that she seemed far too naive to keep the similar expression upon passing by strangers, however, he surmised with the right words, he could cover up her pathetic skills at acting.

Tommy was perplexed, what was Florence trying to tell him? "What are you trying to tell me Flo?"Flo laughed in a musical tone, "I'm pregnant silly. This is our chance! We can get away from my Father!" "B, but you can't be pregnant! Besides, why would you wish to get away from your Father? I thought you loved him?" "Tommy we can't stay here! Do you know what the consequences will be if my Father finds out about the baby? Let alone the fact that the baby would be known as a bastard chiild!" Florence pointed out to Tommy.

Johanna was strolling around the castle, enjoying her morning. She was set to clean out the drawing room, when she heard muffled voices. She knocked on the door, curious to see who was there.

Florence was interupted by the knock of the door. She turned to Tommy in panic and tried to keep him quite but he ended up knocked some books of the shelf instead.

Now Johanna really got worried, and she opened the door slightly, peeking in to see young Princess Florence. She looked to see Thomas of Tubridy, and frowned. It was highly improper that they were meeting behind closed doors.
"I'm sorry, milady, but may I ask where your chaperone is?" she asked sternly, a familiar glint in her eye as she turned to Florence. It was the glint she used before disciplining the royal children.

"Actually it happened when I was reaching up for that book!" Tommy retorted as he showed her the book he was holding. The woman obviously hadn't noticed that one.
