Johanna rolled her eyes. All young nobles were the same. She turned to Florence, her gaze strict, "And you have yet to explain why you were alone with a young man without a chaperon. Surely you could have arranged for one upon arriving and realizing none was provided? Think about your honor and duty, milady!"

"I didn't think I'd need a chaperon, afterall we are to be married within a week! Besdies I'm 21! I can do whatever I wish!" Florence shot back.

Johanna glared at the young princess, her blue eyes hard as she did, "And I'm almost 40 years old! I have a son and I was the one who ran after you as a child! Don't forget that, milady! And I was only trying to help you! Think about what would happen if people heard you and Sir Tubridy were behind closed doors together! If anyone else had found you, they'd not hesitate to spread gossip an rumors. However, if you feel that your above petty gossip, then do as you wish. I didn't realize how easy it was to be pushed aside simply because you've turned 21."
And with that Johanna glared at Florence, feeling hurt that her precious princess had so easily tossed her aside. The older woman turned, not looking back as she headed to the door slowly. She'd forgotten that the children who once adored her were grown up, and while later she'd understand why Florence had been upset, right now, Johanna only felt betrayed.

"I'm sorry Joa, but I'm a little scared right now, there's nothing to worry about okay" Florence tried to apologize without giving any secrets away.

Johanna looked back to the young princess, and her heart softened. She could never stay mad at the young children, "It's quite alright, milady. I'll wait outside. It's not right, after all, if your alone."

Once Joa walked out the door Florence turned to look at Tommy, "what are we going to do Tommy? Father will kill all 3 of us when he finds out about this child!"
"Do you trust me?" Florence nodded. "Good, I want you to go to your room and pack! Don't worry about how your going to move your belongings, I'll sort that one out. I'll meet you in your room within 1 hour, just don't be shocked when I suddenly appear within the room. If you love me enough then you'll understand!" Tommy prayed she wouldn't hate him for being a Wizard.

Johanna stood outside the doors to the princess's room, fumbling with her skirt. It was highly improper of her to leave Florence all alone, however, the young lady was to be married. Johanna sighed, and thought back to Richard. It had all been so long ago, and she'd been just as in love and foolish as the young princess. If only Richard had been honest to her.
"Milady?" called Johanna, "Are you quite done yet?"

As Johanna was asking whether or not Florence was finished with her buisness Florence herself was packing all of her belongings away after running through the servants entrance.
"Psst, Flo, are you finished yet?" she heard Tommy's voice from the window. Looking down she saw Tommy stood with his 2 brothers,
"Were here to get you out" John whispered. "We'll get your things and you can go with Tommy!"
"How though? It will take to long to move everything!" Florence uttered.
"Don't worry about that, I'll get you to safety and pray to Merlin that you don't hate me!" Tommy hissed in aggitation.
"Merlin? Why would you pray to a magician? Why not God?" Florence asked puzzled. At once all 3 brothers apparated into her bedroom.
"Thats why. Do you hate me now? Will you have your Father kill me? Will y-" Tommy was cut off when Florence ran into his arms and kissed him soundly.
"Your one of them! Oh Tommy, will our child be one? Will I become one when I marry you?" Florence rattled off in excitment.
"Can you talk about this later? Only I can see the King walking down this corridor! GO!" John shouted as he and Joseph grabbed all of the things that Florence had packed before they disappeared.
Tommy grabbed hold of Florence and disappeared with her just as King James opened the door.

It was tumultuous the events that followed within the castle. It was assumed that Princess Florence had been kidnapped by wizards. The very event lead to rumors that Sir Thomas had hood-winked the king with magic. Stories flew that he'd used magic to endanger the king's life, and that it was all an elaborate attempt for wizards to earn the crown. By the end of day, the Tubridy's not only had a warrant out for their arrests, they were considered traitors to the crown, and stripped of all their titles and lands. James himself had signed all the legal documents.
It was much later in the evening, when James was alone with his children, that he allowed himself a chance to grieve. He had no idea what those bastard wizards were doing to his daughter, or why they'd taken her. Florence had always been a handful, rebellious, and very trying on his nerves, but she was his child. He could still remember his pride at seeing Eleanor hand him their daughter, and the glow that lit his face as he held his baby girl. It wasn't a big thing to have a second daughter, but Florence was a symbol of his marriage to Eleanor, and she'd always be a symbol of their love. And now, now that same precious child was in the hands of the enemy. Was it his fault? Would they demand a ransom?! Why would they take her?!
"Elizabeth, call my children, I'd like to be with them," said James quietly, nodding to his maid. He wanted no more than to know that he'd at least have his other children with him. Not to mention he needed guidance.

Aelesia was thoroughly distressed. Her elder sister was missing, something she had discovered shortly after her arrival. Uncertain, she had retired to her old quarters, where the nun had thumbed through objects of her and Florence's past. She had not seen any one of the royal family other then her brother since her arrival, but could not bring herself to announce herself to the king or her family, she needed this alone time.
However, her time, she knew, was growing lengthy and she stood up, prepared to go and speak to her father. Just as she exited her quarters, a servant informed her that she and her siblings had been called to the king's side. Giving a stiff thank you to the servant, Aelesia continued her way toward the specified room, opening the door a bit hesitantly.

James looked up to see his daughter coming in. His eyes were the only thing that betrayed his grief at losing Florence. The rest of him was rigid, stiff, formal. He had been King far too long for emotions to lose themselves. He smiled weakly at Aelesia, though he didn't get up. Another sign of breaking protocol and courtesy. He simply indicated the chair beside him for her to take a seat.
"Aelesia," he said, "I'm sorry we had to reunite under these circumstances. I was hoping to enjoy a family dinner rather than a mourning. Please, take a seat, my dear. I- Did you see Florence before- The incident?"

Aelesia was, unlike her father, more openly upset. There weren't any tears, and she wasn't about to kneel down in anguish, but her eye showed her concern for Florence and she held her hands stiffly in front of her, both clasped together. She didn't return the smile, her frowning face merely became a bit less tight for a moment and she nodded while taking the seat he had indicated.
Taking a deep breath before replying she said, "I... I'm afraid not, Father. I had just arrived when I heard the news."

Lillia's maid told her that her father had summoned her, and she took a deep breath before making her way towards the room. She had no way to comfort her father when she was so sad herself.
"Father?" she called, knocking gently on the door.

James sighed heavily at Aelesia's words. He nodded, a grimace rather than a smile aligning his face. He leaned over, and pet his daughter's hand so briefly, it was hard to tell if it was more than a touch. Then he leaned back. He'd never been good with helping people emotionally. When the door was knocked, he nodded to a maid to open it. Before him was his youngest child, Lillia. He sighed, staring at the girl who looked so lost and scared. If only Eleanor had been here.
"Please," he said with a small, strangled smile, "Come sit with us Lillia. Elizabeth has gone to fetch us some tea. Have you been informed of today's events?"

Aelesia nodded toward her father at his attempt of comfort. It wasn't much, but it really meant a lot coming from her father. When Lillia entered, Aelesia turned toward her youngest sister and gave her what she hoped was a comforting smile. Aelesia motioned toward the seat next to her, wanting to give Lillia support.

Lillia bit her lip, watching her father carefully as she sat down next to her sister. He looked...broken, really. It wouldn't have been obvious, but she knew him.
Lillia gave her sister a little smile, and nodded at her father.
"My maid told me." she said quietly, looking down.

"I- I got into a fight with her," he finally said, his throat tight at those words. He owed his children an explanation. They'd wonder what happened. They deserved to know it was all his fault. He'd been duped so badly. How could he have been such a fool? He'd practically handed Florence over to unimaginable tortures. "I- I had her banished to her room. She was al- alone when they came for her. If I hadn't yelled- If I'd let it go- I'm sorry, girls. It was- her suitor. The one I said so, the one who- he saved my life. Aelesia was in the convent- Otherwise it would have been her. Lillia was far too young. I- I sacrificed Florence to them."

"It's not your fault, father." Lillia sighed. "You were never to know, none of us were. He saved your life, after all. Florence has always been strong-willed, anyway. We all fought her, even the boys."

Aelesia's eyes were turning from her grief to anger. She nodded in agreement with her sister, "Yes, it's not your fault at all. If it's anyone fault, it's that wizard's." She glared down at her hands, which were folded in her lap. "We'll avenge Florence and put that wizard in his place." The idea that her sister had been taken by such a monster, truly fueled Aelesia's anger. Damn Convent- Aelesia could have been at the castle and watching after Florence. Or, as her father had said, she would've been taken instead. Damn convent.

James sighed, bitter. His daughters were too kind, too gentle. Just like Florence had been, and look where she was now. He glanced at the both of them, wishing he had a way to make things better for them. His eyes glazed over to Lillia. She was the only daughter of his left to be betrothed, and now it would be doubly important to marry her into a good, strong family. That would become his newest concern. Aelesia had chosen coventry over marriage, and he wouldn't take her choice from her now. Lillia, she had to be married well.
"I appreciate that, girls," he said with a grim smile, "But I should have had her guarded better. I didn't even realize he was alone with her. I made a terrible mistake, and I will suffer for it. That's why, Aelesia, I know you chose the convent, but I want you to come home. I've sent a letter to the Maidens explaining it. I'd rather you take up your religious studies where you're guarded by an army rather than putting the convent in danger. And we need to prepare to show ourselves to the world as confident and ready. Do you girls have any suggestions to present to the world our anger and our desire for vengeance in a calm manner? I'll ask your brothers, but you know I value all my children's opinions."

Lillia's eyes widened. Her father had always been the biggest supporter of the convent, so the fact that he was asking Aelesia to leave...
"We need to be presented as a strong unit." Lillia frowned. "Spending time as a family will cause other families in the country to feel for us, and they'll stand behind us."

Aelesia knew she should probably show more distress at leaving the convent, but honestly... well.. Damn Convent, as she'd been thinking just moments before. Frowning she said in a slightly forced sad tone. "I understand father, I'm sure the sister's could accommodate for such an arrangement. I'd never want to put them at risk." She closed her eyes for a moment, imagining how much more enjoyment she would have in the castle with her family, where she should be.

Jacobson was not happy. He had arrived with his family very shortly. After leaving their children with one of the maids, (And leaving a guard with them. He would take no chances.), he very angrily made his way to the place he had been summoned. Denise followed him, trying to calm him down. But his little sister had been taken, and he was not happy.
Opening the doors, he proclaimed loudly- "That...that... that cretin will pay for what he has done, rest assured father. Just proved how vicious those warlocks and witch's are, can't be trusted!" Denise placed a hand on his shoulder, and he quieted for a moment, going to sit down next to his father, Denise by him.

James smiled at Aelesia, glad he'd have one more of his daughter's home with him, though he wished he could have them all. Before he could reply, however, Jacob burst in. He glanced warily at his son, and nodded. He smiled a bit at Denise. The woman was a great antidote to his rash behavior.
"Please try and be less abrupt next time. You scared Lillia," said James, sighing heavily as he folded his hands in his lap. "Yes, they will pay. Aelesia's staying at home with us now. We're trying to think of a way to prove to the witches that we are stronger than they'd think. Where are my grandchildren, Jacob? I hope- Should I send more guards to them?"

Lillia blushed as everyone turned to look at her.

Jacob nodded, a bit embarrassed. He nodded apologetically toward Lila, and Aelesia who was sighing at her brother's rash behavior. Though he was stilling boiling, he managed to keep his voice down. (Mostly due to Denise keeping a hand on his shoulder, still.) "They're with on of my best maids right now, I've left them with a guard and in a safe part of the castle... They will be fine, though Elise is quite upset, she quite liked Florence." Little Elise had been very excited to visit the castle that seemed like a fairy tale one more. Her grandfather always seemed like such a strong man, and her aunts were like fairy god mothers to her. Denise pursed her lips, she had been distressed leaving Elise when she had begun crying. Thankfully, the maid was quite capable at caring for the children.
Jacob smiled at Lilia when she suggested she see them. "They are safe, but I'm sure they'd enjoy a visit from their Aunt."
"As for how to show these witches that we are capable, I think it would be nice to push forward with the training of Witch Hunters... Show them we are not weak, and can handle a few parlor tricks." Jacob himself was already mentally preparing himself- he fully anticipated to join the battle himself.

Alexander had received the news that Florence was gone, while he had been out with a few of the Knights, when it happened. Disbelief had floured him and he had ordered the horses to turn straight away to the castle. None of the knights had dared to talk with him, as angry he was. Florence, he remembered with a bitter tug. He hadn't the details, he only knew that the Tubridys had something to do with it.
He was now rushing through the castle, wanting to reunite with his family. He had noticed that Jacob had arrived, and he rushed inside the room, where he knew his family probably was. He breathed out.
"Hello father," he said.

James frowned, and shook his head to Lillia. He didn't like the idea of having her leave the room. He glanced up to where Alexander was, and indicated the seat to his left. A relief filled his heart to see all of his children with him, as well as a stab. If only his Florence was here.
"Come in, Alex," he said with a nod, "Have a seat? Where were you? Do you know what happened? Lillia, please stay. I'm sure you can see the children in the morning."
