I've had an account on ff.net for years and I've never used it. I'm thinking about just closing it since I don't use it and I don't like what's being done. Is it immature of me that I want to sent a big F U pm to all the trolls and piss them off so much that they report me so FF.net kicks me off instead.lol. It would be good for the venting

I love getting reviews myself. Not just "Great story." - that's not a proper review; but real reviews where it's clear that the reviewer has read the actual story and has been touched by it in some way. That's why I only write reviews like that myself. And why I can't stand people who are demanding reviews. You can't go around demanding something like that. If your story touched your readers, and meant something to them, your readers will want to tell you so. Demanding one just doesn't make sense to me. When I send a review I kind rest in the middle of all that. If I find something odd like they left something out. (Read one where they accidentally deleted half the conversation) I'll bring it up. Though if I love the story and find nothing wrong with it I'll basically tell them I love their story and I hope they update soon. I always try to make it very polite. Before I started writing I would always feel guilty to criticize them in any way. Then I realized it wasn't offending. |

they don't? Wow didn't know that. Before this mess started, a friend and I made a shared account, as we were working on our own RtB story and had such a nice idea for an username. It would have made things easier, as we both have access to the account, and could both post the updates and answer reviews. But then the purge started and we tried to delete it - that possibility doesn't even exist. No wonder there are so many unused accounts there, clogging up the user list but doing nothing. It's really stupid! |
