Harrigan raised his bow quicker than with Lexie at the new approacher. Thankfully it was only a unicorn, and not an angry one. He lowered the bow with an easy flourish.
"Hello lady," he began, bowing as necessary for a herd leader but maintaining a playful smirk, "We were simply discussing the war. I believe a lady such as yourself shall be fighting on the side of the Forest. Allow an unworthy soul such as myself to grace your side in battle."

Well, this Centaur certainly had manners. Being a unicorn had it's perks, and the fact that most Centaurs considered harming a unicorn to be monstorous, gave the Unicorns a good deal of protection in the forest.
"You flatter me," She began in a pleasant tone, "Yes, me and the other Unicorns will be fighting for the Magical Creatures right to live here in the forest. We've been here longer then witches and wizards and we aren't about to leave."

After a while of brooding on the notion of being without a master, Lucinda felt something strange tugging at her. A great, uncontrollable need. Of course, this sensation was very familiar, and meant one of two things- an accidental summons, or a tug on her vows. Either way, a creature somewhere was suffering, and it was up to her to guide them out of fear. Knowing that her work for the day was completed, Lucinda allowed herself to be pulled by the sensation.
She flashed in an unfamiliar room and looked upon the one whose need had summoned her.

Harrigan's eyes twinkled in response. He loved putting the charm on for anyone.
"So war is brewing, I shall need to inform my herd leader. I am Harrigan, by the way. And you ladies are welcome to the herd's territory on behalf of my name. Do you think I'll get a chance to meet a human soon? I would love to know the functions of a quaffle," said Harrigan pleasantly.

If she had had eyebrows, Kei would have raised them in surprise... A quaffle? This was definitely an odd centaur. Most cared for nothing more then the stars, and certainly not the odd inventions of Wizards.
"I'm sure you'll be meeting a few humans- after all, half-breed are being hunted as well so I'm assuming more vampires will be coming- along with werewolves. Though I must ask, what is to intriguing about a Quaffle?"
---
Rhea was startled by a sudden burst of light among the many boxes of books. The already confused and alarmed werewolf stumbled back, knocking down a box from a stack. After glancing down to see a few books tumble from the box, she looked up to see a curous sight- a Phoenix.
"W-What?" Was all she managed to say.

Rodimus trotted through the forest, seeing to it that the other centaurs fulfilled their duties - he had ordered them to start hiding the younglings and protect the elders who could or would not fight. The last thing he wanted were casualties for the battle that was coming. After hearing the word "quaffle", Rodimus' ears twitched. Only one of his herd would even think to say that unusual word.
"Good morning." he said, making his way toward them.

"Of course Lexie, hamburgers are top of my list, but since you've promised me a recipe, I must work my way down. And I already had the pleasure of meeting one. I believe you know each other already? And I have no idea what a quaffle is and why it holds value to anyone, except that it is a strange word I have pondered for the last forty years. Lexie, what is a quaffle?" asked Harrigan, his never ending supply of questions pouring out.

After glancing down to see a few books tumble from the box, she looked up to see a curous sight- a Phoenix. "W-What?" Was all she managed to say. "Hello, miss. My name is Lucinda, and I couldn't help but feel your troubled heart." Lucinda trilled, knowing that the one in front of her would understand - only full humans couldn't make sense of phoenix speak. "Are you alright?" ((I don't know if you noticed my question or not, but what do you think of Lucinda eventually bonding herself to Rhea?))

Harrigan jumped at the all too familiar voice, one that he had heard many times sighing at him or laughing. One that spoke eons of wisdom.
"Rodimus, sir, good morrow to you as well! I have confirmed the meaning of the rumors, sir, and acquainted myself with two beauties!" said Harrigan, bowing low to his herd leader before rising at attention and stowing away his arrow. No need if Rodimus felt safe, but never the less, he kept his bow in ready position, no need to get careless.

(What exactly is Bonding entail? I'm not quite sure.)
"My troubled heart.... right..." She repeated under her breath, confused. It took her a moment, and quite a bit of blinking and rubbing her eyes to make sure she wasn't imagining things.
"Is..." She finally started to regain the ability to speak, "Is there really going to be a... war? Are half-breed's being... executed?"

((Basically, Lucinda would eventually become Rhea's familiar))
Lucinda regarded the werewolf sadly, beady eyes closed in regret. "I'm afraid so, my dear. All creatures - light, dark and neutral, half or full breed, will be slayed if the Ministry isn't stopped. They have already harmed many creatures as it is. Right now, I'm doing everything I can to protect the forest from harm. I just hope that its enough."
----
Rodimus chuckled in amusement at Harrigan's antics. "Very well, please tell me the meaning of these rumors, and introduce me to these 'beauties' as you so fondly call them."

Harrigran's grin grew wider, Rodimus never acted like he was above him.
"Well, sir, this is Lexie the Vampire who knows much on hamburgers, they are supposedly flipped," said Harrigan, pointing to the pretty girl. "And this is Kei, a unicorn like no other in terms of beauty. The rumors are true, sir. War is brewing between the creatures and the humans, but perhaps peace can be worked out?"
The last part was a question. The idea of harming humans repulsed Harrigan, and Rodimus was the wisest centaur, he would know what was true and what was false.

Rodimus smiled politely at the ladies and bowed his head to them in turn. "It is a pleasure to meet the two of you, Kei and Lexie. May the stars and the moon shine brightly upon you." He then looked to Harrigan and frowned. "If the rumors are true, then we cannot simply hope for things to be peaceful. I will try to negotiate first, though I doubt I will be listened to. If these humans have as much hatred in their hearts as it seems, we'll have no choice but to wage war."

Alice sighed as she pushed the last of the papers away. She was done for her lunch break. She decided to go up a floor to the nice coffee room for a relaxing mug of tea. She hadn't packed a lunch partially out of being in a hurry, and partially from not wanting to waste her money on take-aways. Her mind was still considering the poor werewolf girl she'd left this morning in a state of panic, however, to think about food.
Alice rose from her desk. She pulled down her red dress robes slightly, re-adjusting them to cover a bit more of her legs. She quickly placed her anatomy books in her purse, and let her curls fall loosely around her shoulders. Her head was spinning. She got up and made her way to the elevators. She just needed a break, that's all. A nice cup of tea, and maybebher head would stop spinning.
Harrigan frowned. He didn't like the idea at all of going to war with humans. Of course, he had learned long ago that anyone was capable of merciless attacks. It had been proved when his father had murdered his mother almost twenty years ago. However, a part of him wished to keep the humans at bay. Could he not amuse himself with learning the strangeness of their culture and not their cruelty?
"Rodimus, you sully these ladies precious ears with tales of war, surely it won't reach the level the war of Voldemort did at it's peak? Perhaps simply a tale for the songs and not for the books? The ladies are gearing up already, should the herd as well? What say you, ladies, need a hand?" asked Harrigan cheekily, smiling despite his inner turmoil.

"No thanks. I'm pretty handy with these" I said as I pulled out my multiple weapons. Gun, dagger and sword. All imbued with Phoenix tears from Acidious, all able to either shoot out acid bullets or throw/cut people with acid. It sure does help having a Phoenix.

Harrigan grinned, "A lady after mine own heart, perhaps you don't need help, though I do specialize in protecting damsels in distress. You sure you don't want to panic for a second?"
He was amused by the girl's weaponry. It was obviously charmed by something or the other, however, it would take a real battle to assess her skill, and he needed the answer to the hamburger first.

Kei watched the other three silently, feeling no need to join in. After a few minutes though, she did need to add,
"I'd say you should, as you say, gear up the herd. Whether you plan to or not, you'll eventually need to get involved one way or the other- the wizards will come after you. The Unicorn Herd will be joining in protecting the forest, and the school as well. We fear that the adults will foolishly attack and some of the human foals will just caught in the cross-fire."

Harrigan watched the strange device fly aand hit the tree, immediately causing the tree to begin to weaken and die. So the vampiress had fangs after all. Before he could ambush her with questions about the device she used, a soft voice interrupted their banter.
He turned to hear Kei's words closely. He felt sick hearing the negative aspects of his treasured humans.
"Rodimus, what are your thoughts? If you wish, I can station myself to protect the human foals or the foals of any creature in the forest," said Harrigan quietly.

((Sorry I took a while to respond. My dad was on the phone and wanted to talk))
Maxwell strolled pleasantly through the Ministry, listening for murmurs and whispers about the upcoming battle. It didn't take long - many of the Aurors seemed to be unsure if it was the right thing to do or not. He pitied the poor souls - couldn't they understand what abominations the creatures really were? No, of course not. Maxwell had spent nearly most of his life trying to fight the Granger Laws, which called for the equal treatment of all creatures.
Not directly, of course. For his plans to succeed, others had to take the helm while he remained behind. Like the very person he was visiting, for instance. He smoothed over his triumphant smirk and replaced it with a lazy, placid smile. "Garrison, thank you for seeing me on such short notice."
"Think nothing of it, Maxwell!" the large man replied, grinning widely. "Friends are always welcome here! I'm headed to the lunch room. Care to join me?"
In truth, Maxwell wanted to do no such thing, but it wouldn't do good to refuse. He needed a large favor from him, and Garrison might actually decline if his mood wasn't just so. "I could probably use a cup of coffee." he agreed mildly.
Garrison beamed at him and it was all Maxwell could do to hide his disgust. Sometimes, old friend, you act more like a pig than a human being.
-----
Rodimus smiled fondly at Harrigan but made no comment. Always the optimistic one, that Harrigan! Hopefully, he was right and there would only be peace. But one couldn't be too sure. He considered the question carefully. "For now, I think that would be best, Harrigan. I'm sure they will need as much assistance as you can offer." He bowed to the three of them. "I'm sorry our meeting has to be so short, but I need to finish my rounds. May the sun warm you and burn your foes."

Harrigan recognized the dismissal in Rodimus's voice. He bowed to his senior.
"Well, ladies, I'm off to take my rounds as well. We should meet again, my tender heart will remember this parting with sorrow until such time we meet again. And Lexie, I still require a recipe. May the stars align themselves in your favor," said Harrigan, making a ridiculous bow as he left the two.
Alice breathed a sigh of relief as the elevator finally came. She entered the elevator and pushed her loose hair back. She was absolutely famished, and still dizzy. To her surprise, instead of going up to the lunchroom, it headed down towards the Auror office. Ah well, it wasn't like she'd meet anyone troublesome, maybe she'd see Eleazar again. He was a nice fellow.

(( I forget what Marigold was before, but I'm making her an Auror. She's fully against magical creatures)).
Marigold happily drank down her bottle of No-Beer Butterbeer, enjoying the icy-cold beverage down her parched throat. They'd just gone through one of the most intense training sessions ever. Then again, with the upcoming battle, she accepted it as best she could. She'd do whatever it took to put an end to the creatures who threatened their safety. Even if it meant killing them.

After that little chat I figured I'd be able to leave the forest for at least 20 minutes. I still wasn't due a blood feed for another month yet and I was kinda hungry. Maybe I could pop over to burger king? Satisfy my hunger and get those different recipes for Harrigan. Plus he WAS kinda cute in that manly way. Gahh! What am I thinking? I swore off any form of man after that creep, but he IS soo hot. What do I do?? I do so wish that Mama was still here to help me.

Alice steadied herself by grabbing a hold of the railing, the elevator was finally reaching the last floor. Just a few more minutes and she could get a nice cup of tea and make this weak feeling go away. Finally the elevator stopped at the lunch room level, and Alice stepped out. She needed to grab something to eat. She walked slowly, sliding her hand by the wall. Why was she feeling so faint?

I was being clutched firmly in the grasp of a small girl, no more than 12 years old. I tried desperately to escape, scratching and biting with all my will, but she kept her grip; nothing seemed to deter her. Just as I was about to make one final, desperate attempt at getting away, I felt the train sway beneath us as it lurched to a stop. The girl, still grabbing tightly onto me, made her way out a door, and onto a platform that was slowly, but steadily, filling up with people. I gaped at the new surroundings, so different were they from the scenery of London, which I had frequently roamed. The lighting on the platform was somewhat dim, the buildings behind it were somewhat rickecty looking and the people around it were all somewhat more rambunctious than the ones I usually encountered. Everything about it seemed foreign to me, and in a way it frightened me. Knowing however, that for the time being, I would remain safe in this child's arms, I gave up my struggle and let her lug me to a line of carriages, pulled by strange, winged, horse-like creatures. Approaching the nearest one, she clambered in, taking no notice of the beast pulling it. She deposited me on the seat, and from there, I raised myself up to stare out the front window to get a closer look at the carriage puller. I was shocked however, to see that instead of my usual white paws, they were now completely black. Examining the rest of my body, I realized that every part of me was now said colour. Confused, I dismissed it, still interested in the creature out the window. I lifted myself up again and saw that the creature had turned it's head and was staring into the carriage at me!

Maxwell withheld the urge to sigh, as Garrison kept yammering on about how great the Ministry had become under him. There were days he regretted ever befriending the annoying fool. And yet, the man was easily manipulated and willing to do anything for him... for the right price. And as long as Maxwell stayed on his good side, Garrison wouldn't betray him.
"...and I owe it all to you, Max! Without you, none of this would be possible! We're on the verge of revolution." Garrison whispered conspiratorially.
"You owe me nothing, sir. You're the brilliant mind behind all of this...I've merely chosen to join you."
Garrison pondered it for a moment, and puffed out his chest pridefully. "Yes, well, I knew it was for the best. We're in a point and age where the creatures threaten our existence! As Minister, I felt it was my sworn duty to save us from them!"
"And that is why you are Minister, sir." Maxwell smiled placidly. He rather enjoyed it when his pawns acted as expected. This caused Garrison to go into another rant about his perfection, as they headed for the lunch room.

Alice continued to walk until she heard a few voices behind her, and slowly she turned her head to see Maxwell Rosebane and the minister approaching. The minister seemed to be babbling about some kind of perfection. Alice stopped as she saw them coming, the room starting to spin. Finally, she keeled over in a black out, just as the Minister and Mr. Rosebane were about a meter away.

"And of course, I'll have to have a statue dedicated to my great work..."
Maxwell well didn't reply as they turned the corner. His eyes fell upon the form of the young girl from yesterday - Alice. She had seemed to have blacked out for some reason...
In an instant, he was at her side, as Garrison waddled behind him.
"Miss Alice?" he spoke softly, breaking composure by cradling her in his arms. He lowered his Occlumency walls and allowed his concern and worry to show through.
"Is she alright?" Garrison inquired, worried.
Maxwell's eyes narrowed. No doubt he was pondering how negatively this would reflect on the Ministry if she was badly hurt. "I believe so." he replied, before casting a non-verbal Enervate upon her. "Miss, are you alright?"
