Maybe we can all complain on ff.net's blog about the review abuse that certain members of their site are subjecting people too? If enough people complain on the blog they may just do something about since they don't want to piss people off now.

If they don't want to piss people off, they should stop deleting fics. If they won't stop that, then I seriously doubt they will listen to complaints about review abuse.

But with FFN I get the distinct feeling they don't see us as their customers, but at best as petitioners who can be disregarded entirely. |

Whenever I've complained to FFN, I've either been ignored entirely, or told to get over it. I have no faith in them at all, unless attorneys become involved.

I just got that same review. I'm surprised nothing has happened for this amount of time. I just blocked the user who did that and I'll probably go through and block a bunch of people from CU.

I just saved them from my latest reviews and when the scare first started, I saved all of the online ones and haven't deleted review emails since.
And yes, could you please send the names to me. Hopefully blocking can do some good.

My fic was deleted today. Not too surprised really; I've been expecting it since the whole purge started. I haven't decided if I'll continue it though. I want to, but I'm sick of constantly having to worry about whether or not someone will complain. Because, let's face it, the copyright infingement thing is a pretty big deal for most sites. I need a break from it anyway.
I also quite want to start a full length nonRtB just to see if I can actually complete it. It'll be an interesting challenge at least.

It starting in the PJO now, some person by the name of A Big Fan of Most Things. He/she haves their profile dilled with some of the rules, and mocking them about how he/she can still report even though you blocked them.

It is, and even worse is that FFN is bowling over backwards to accommodate them. If it was my website, I'd have kicked these bullies off long ago. They may be right about the legality, but it's not their business to decide what stays and what has to go, it's the decision of the site owners. And these never did anything.

There's a difference between enforcing a rule, and outright bullying. These things have manipulated the first to use fkr the latter. It's sick, and they derive some pleasure from it!

Meh, I'm almost done completely with FFN. They're just not as exciting as they used to be. When you stop caring about the reviews and notice your story gets, you realize that they're a rather hollow site. Hardly any good ways to really socialize and get to know the other writers.

I still check reviews, but I just don't want to post anymore. I hate posting onto that site, it feels like a hollow sort of defeat...
So, I'm not sure, but I want to post my non-RTBs here at least, I get the most excitement from posting here. It's just, after everything on that site, the fellow who messaged me, the Big Fan or whatever, I sort of always wanted to yell at whoever came to me, but now... Now I'm really beyond caring.

I'm sorry for you both, but sadly, there's nothing we can do about it.
But I feel the same, I feel less and less like even reading stories there. I guess when the few I am still following are done, I'll pull out of that site completely, too. The way they treat their authors (and readers!) is disgusting me more and more, and reading there has lost its appeal. Being here is so much more fun, even if we only have a handful of stories to read at the moment. The company and the discussions make more than up for that!
